Dr. Jennifer Walden attended the Galveston based medical branch at the University of Texas. She went on to build a career and name for herself in New York after she had completed her fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. After working there for a couple of years she moved back to Austin to be with her family and start her own practice. Here, she majors in cosmetic surgeries. Whether it is the correction or modification of eyelids, breasts or the face, Dr. Jennifer Walden has got your best interest at heart. Thighs, arms, and abdomen liposuctions are within her areas of expertise as well. She also fills soft tissues and gives Botox injections to some of her patients.
As a woman who has specialized in this field of work, cosmetic surgery, she is considered rare. 10% of all plastic surgeons who are certified by the board are women and very few are part of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Part of the reason there are very few women in the cosmetic surgery industry is the amount of time that needs to be put into school and practice before certification but Dr. Walden concurred it all. She has experienced some of the procedures she does to her patients and this makes it easy for her to relate to her patients, in terms of sharing similar experiences.
One of Dr. Walden’s main goals in life is to help other women feel better about themselves and this is partially the reason she chose to become a cosmetic plastic surgeon. Through her work, she has made people happy and more confident and that is why she gets recommendations. Dr. Walden goes ahead to say that her joy is met when people undergo such procedures and go home satisfied. This is what motivates her in her line of work.
